I can’t get enough of my Holga these days!

To think, there were days at Brooks when I was entirely burnt out on photography, and I thought the Holga was nothing but a waste of my time, and now I’m incorporating it with my wedding photography!!

YIKES!!! Good thing the nature thing didn’t work out, cause I wasn’t very good at it.

In my first class at Brooks I took a picture of a leaf thingy growing in a pond. The teacher liked it and it has hung on the wall at Brooks ever since (that was 2002, I just saw it on the wall last week when I was visiting the campus)

This is a terrible picture from my camera phone, but here’s the culprit that mislead my goals for a while:

Yep, here’s my SUPER HOT wife with me on a quick mountain bike ride on our trip to Big Bear earlier this week.

I used to be up there like twice a month riding and racing. Riding with Cheryl got me longing to do it all over again!!

She did pretty darn good for being her first ever real mountain bike ride!!

I’m what some refer to as a gear whore. I LOVE toys!!!!

He who dies with the most toys wins (now… if this is true, my climbing partner Steve is killing me here)

I used to be pretty serious into mountain biking/racing. Sadly though, I haven’t really ridden at a serious level in several years, and haven’t even owned a true mountain bike for way too long!

So when Cheryl and I took a trip to see her family in Big Bear and we rented some cheap mountain bikes, I was hooked again!!!

This should be arriving Tuesday! I can’t wait to build it!!!

I’m actually looking forward to my first crash!
