I only dream of the day I get to play in the WSOP!!
My best friend Erik and I have long dreamed of playing in the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas! Hopefully if both of us are successful in our careers, someday in the future we can afford to plop down $10,000 cash in order to play in the world’s biggest poker tournament!!!
This year’s tournament is limited to 12,000 players!!! And no doubt they’ve filled that along with alternates!!! That’s about $120,000,000 (yes 120 million) in play!!!! WOW!!!!
I’ve heard stories about guys who knew guys who have played in the WSOP. Well, this year, I’m a guy who knows a guy playing! One of my photographer buddies Becker is playing this year! He won a seat at the tournament by playing in and winning a satellite tournament earlier this year!
He’s made it through the first day (there’s 4 first days!!! with a total of 12 days of play for one single game/tournament!!) He returns tomorrow I believe to play in “day 2″ of the tournament. At this point, it’s cheaper for me to live vicariously through his entry!! Can’t wait to see how he does!

7/7/07 Wedding. One of 30,000 in the US today!!!!
If you hadn’t heard, today was a VERY popular wedding date!! I think I had more than 20 leads for today, but we could only shoot one, and I’m sooo glad we got to shoot Nancy and Eric’s wedding!!!
Eric and Nancy had their beautiful ceremony at the Ventura Mission/San Buenaventura Mission and had a rocking reception at the Ventura Marriott!!
When couples are beautiful it always makes taking pictures sooo easy, and seeing these two are super hot and totally into the pictures, we were able to get some really good stuff!!

Photographed an awesome wedding with my buddy Doug Miranda
I love my job as a wedding photographer!, and I love it even more when I get to go out and second shoot for a friend. This means they get all the responsibility, and I just get to play around!!!
Doug is a buddy of mine from Brooks. He is an awesome wedding photographer who lives in Tahoe (good runner up for most beautiful place in California, second only to Yosemite and Santa Barbara)

Finally ranking for Santa Barbara Destination Wedding Photographers on Google

TimHalberg.com is finally showing up on the first page of Google for searches, such as Santa Barbara Destination Wedding Photographer
I think we have quite a few other key-words we’re showing up for, and that’s super exciting! Finally people can find our website by searching for us online super easy!!
Now if only I showed up at the top of the list for searches like Hawaii Wedding Photographer, Italy Wedding Photographer and California Wedding Photographer.
Now if I can only devote this much time in other areas of my life with as much success!!!
