It’s always super exciting to get new prints and albums in the office. I think it’s probably the same feeling as a carpenter gets when they finish building a house and they get to step back and look at the whole thing.

So, when Shaun Austin from Kiss Wedding Books stopped through town and dropped off our newest sample album yesterday I was stoked!

This album is covered with their newest Italian leather in a lime green! (I know, at first I was like, ok, that’s weird… but seeing it in person, it’s kinda sexy in a lime sorta way)

Here is another adorable family I had the chance to photograph for their Christmas portraits in Carpinteria. Jen Turner, our talented intern, came along with me on this shoot and we had a blast taking pictures of these guys down at the beach on Santa Clause lane. I love the rocks there and the rail road tracks are so fun as a background too. The girls were adorable, definitely hammed it up for us!

Here are my favorites from the day :)

Becky at Sugar Plum Invitations recently asked us if she could feature some of our photography on her blog. I’m always stoked when people want to share what we’re up to with others, so I was more than happy to share.

She just posted our wedding photography from Rick and Renee’s wedding in New York on her blog. Check out the Sugar Plum Invitations blog by clicking here.

Sugar Plum makes some sweet LetterPress stuff!! We’re probably going to place an order for business cards pretty soon because the letterpress stuff is just SOOOOO cool!!

Alright, so Jen and Katie (our two interns right now) told me I needed to check out the YouTube video for the “Russian Singer.”

Me being the guy I am had to look/watch.

For the first 30 seconds I thought the joke was on me… nice, slow, boring singing… but if you keep watching, a little ways in all of a sudden things get really “interesting.” Jen says it’s “hot” but I personally think it’s a little disturbing that a guy can do that!

This is pretty wild. (no pun intended at all) ;-)

As you can read below, I blogged the other day about Wild Heart Winery and their wine, and specifically their TERRIBLE customer service. I’ve already had one other person email me and say they have also had bad experiences in the tasting room with the staff/owners being rude bunch when they were there tasting. It’s really sad to hear that a business would be like that.

But, I find it a bit funny, Wild Heart Winery hasn’t put a website together for themselves yet… so, when I blogged about them, Google picked up my post, and it’s now on the first page of Google’s search results for “Wild Heart Winery”

Sorry Wild Heart, but hopefully next time you guys will attempt to treat your customer better.
