You can’t take the survey unless you’re on our mailing list (seriously, I wouldn’t normally make it that way, but that’s how the survey software works… since it’s tied to our mass email software thingy) So, if you didn’t receive the email today about the survey from newsletter@halbergphotographers.com, then you’ll want to email me at tim@halbergphotographers.com and say something along the lines of “sign me up so I can take the survey” and I’ll get you added to the list and notified of the link for where to take the survey!

Well be drawing on Monday April 7 for the two lucky winners. Hopefully that gives you all enough time to check out our website and give us your opinions.

We’re excited to update our website and show you our newest work. Hopefully with your help we can make the best site possible!!!

We had an absolute blast this last week with JC and Carmen cruising around the Santa Ynez Valley chasing the most beautiful and inspiring light that I’ve seen in AGES!!!!

My words can’t do justice for just how fun and beautiful these two were to photograph and I can’t thank Carmen enough for wearing such a beautiful dress to finish out these pictures!! We are sooooo excited for their wedding in May.

We just got back from spending nearly a week in Las Vegas the the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International convention/tradeshow. This is the world’s biggest gathering of this type each year and is always inspiring, and we get to see so many awesome friends and dweeb out on photography nerd type things.

While we were there my friends Bruce and Robin of doodledo (a design/post production company geared toward wedding and portrait photographers) had entered an album design they did for us in the album competition. We are sooo stoked because I guess our photography mixed with their awesome design work resulted in an Award of Excellence! So cool!

They actually did all the hard work for me, I just sat back and let them do their thing and received the award (really, the award should be theirs for all the great work they did, I wouldn’t even have entered on my own!)

Bruce and Robin decided they liked the design so much that they submitted it to the album design competition, and it received an Award of Excellence for the design and photography. What a fun honor!

So… I’m a wedding photographer, it’s my job to be very aware of what’s going on, so watch this and see how well you do: (make sure you have the sound turned on, or just make sure you count how many passes the white team makes)

As a photographer, I work VERY hard to pay very close attention to everything… but even I missed this the first go around. hahahaha

My goal, to focus as much as possible while still seeing what else is happening that others might be missing.

Kevin and Mindi’s wedding was super fun because it was like a reunion for Cheryl, she went to Biola with Mindi and Kevin and has a ton of mutual friends, so she got to mingle while also getting some great shots!

We’d never been to the Richard Nixon Presidential Library before, but wow, what a neat place! I hope that there’s a Library/museum of this stature in honor of me one day! ;-)
