New video from our Hotel Del Coronado wedding

My good buddy and mentor David Jay lit a fire under my butt with a video he posted online this week, and the result is a brand new video captured by Russell Fowler and then quickly editted tonight by yours truly.

Click here to see the video and definitely take a minute to give me some feedback below. I’m super curious to see if people like this video and what it makes you think of me/us. (crossing my fingers for the warm fuzzies) ;-)

Hope you enjoy.

  1. Awesome video!! It looks like you guys really have a lot of fun when you’re shooting, and that the couple and families have fun with you.

  3. Great video - I loved the smiles. a great part is that beautiful wife of yours. When the video cut to HalbergPhotographers I heard music but no video. At the tail end I got a message that my virtual memory was too low and it was shutting everything down to adjust the video. I guess that’s what happens when you are using your son’s college computer!

  5. Great video Tim! I also got music at the end with no more video.

  11. What up HALBERGS! I love the new blog layout! We’ve had the fire under our butts about a video too - kudos for actually doing it! I like the old style 8mm footage - very cool. I don’t know if you meant this but the video ends about half way through and plays music to a black screen for the rest. I tried on Safari and Firefox - both with the same results (on a pc). I want to see more, more more! Thanks for posting. Much love as always!

  17. Sweet video Tim. I have one on the way for myself. I think it is the new way to promote yourself. You and Cheryl look like you are having a lot of fun. The only thing is I couldnt hear any sound when I watched it. Checked all my volume settings so not sure why. Was a great silent video:)

  19. Awesome video. Not sure why but when I watched it it stalled and bunch and I saw pixel squares regularly. I have a fast network at home and was watching on my MacbookPro. Really weird…

I’m going to try and watch it again later. Hey, when are we doing breakfast again?

  21. Okay, when he’s right, he’s right. And DJ is right. This video will sell. The main thing that stands out (to me) in the video is your personalities and the way you’re interacting with the bride. It’s obvious you’re having fun and are fun to be around. Your videographer did a great job capturing it. And DJ’s right again…I never even thought about the “quality” of the video when I was watching it. I’d hire you! Well done!! (also, no problems at all watching the video on my end:)

  23. Great vid! Just stopped by from DJ’s blog and thought I’d check it out! I think the short part where it shows you talking with a couple bridesmaids really makes you feel approachable and fun. And who is the fabulous redhead photographer?? Red headed photographers are some of the best, you know;)

My promo vid will hopefully be done around Christmas time IF everything goes according to schedule.

  33. Came to see this per DJ’s recommendation! Very cool! Watching the video I get the feeling that you guys are cool, chill, and make the wedding day relaxing! The contrast of the video footage to your actual images makes the photos really pop. Love the music :)
