Jeff and Jaime’s Wedding in The Knot
We had a blast at Jeff and Jaime’s wedding and were honored when the submitted their photos to The Knot website and then our images from their wedding at the Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club in Mission Viejo were chosen by The Knot for publication in their Spring/Summer Southern California issue.

We LOVE getting our images published and are thankful to our couples for having beautiful weddings that make this easier.
Free Photography for Santa Barbara’s Tea Fire Families
I’ve been trying to wait to move forward with this until I could put something “nice looking” together, but realize that we’re getting really close to Christmas, so I’m just gonna post this up here and see where we go from here.
Living here in Santa Barbara and seeing all these families lose their homes in the fires was crazy, and it didn’t really hit me until I had a chance to drive through the burned out neighborhoods and see the destruction that these families lost EVERYTHING.
We want to offer to help and the best way we know how is through photography. I know I’d be super bummed if I lost all of my family photos.
So, we want to offer an family/individual who lost their home/belongings in the Tea Fire a free session as well as free prints. (I’d love to be able to offer free books/albums as well and I’m going to see what I can do with some connections from an album company I know.)
EDIT: Just got word back from my favorite album company KISS Wedding Books that they will donate soft page Coffee Table Books for any families affected by the fires. (Thank you to KISS for this awesome donation!)
Basically, if you know someone who was effected by this fire, please pass my contact info along to them, I would truly be honored to be able to get them some photos this Christmas to start a collection for their family memories.
They can call me on my cell: 805.252.6097 or email me: tim@halbergphotographers.com
When I was driving through the burn area I stopped to take some pictures, I had this idea of what I would see built up in my head, but when I got there I was shocked, there was NOTHING left of most of these homes
Scott and Sarah’s Santa Barbara Polo Club Wedding
I don’t know how I managed to skip Scott and Sarah’s wedding in the blog, but I can’t find it, so I’m sharing their pictures with you now.
We had a BLAST with Scott and Sarah at their wedding and their location was such a great place! The Santa Barbara Polo and Racquet Club has so much green grass to play with which serves for a beautiful backdrop.
I got the coolest T-Shirt - Everyone Poops
I love t-shirts and wear them pretty much every day. I’m not a very political person (I’m actually very much opposed to a lot of politics because it has become a profession as far as I ever see it, and I tend to stand off to the side watching everything, realizing I disagree with both sides pretty equally)
My good buddy Kenny knows this about me and is a man who’s always hunting for the next fun shirt to add to his collection, so when he keyed me in on the Everyone Poops t-shirt from Threadless.com I was AMPED! (sadly the shirt wasn’t available in my size.. so I petitioned you my blog readers to help vote for the shirt and get it re-printed. Well, it worked - along with probably me voting myself from 30 different email addresses!!)
Anyone else into expressive t-shirts? Any other sites worth checking out besides threadless?
Wedding Location Directory - Santa Barbara, Los Angeles and more
Over the last few years we have had the opportunity to photograph weddings at a bunch of really fun and beautiful wedding locations in Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, San Francisco and across the country. As a result we have a large number of brides emailing me asking if they can see photos of different locations to see what the location looks like before they go visit.
After hearing so many brides ask us if we can show them photos of different locations to help them make up their mind about which location would fit their wedding best, as well as to get ideas of different ways to decorate their wedding and reception location, we realized we should create a wedding locations directory on our site to share with everyone.
So, although it’s still hugely a work-in-progress our Santa Barbara Wedding Location Directory is live. We have tried to keep the layout simple and straight-forward, but if you have any feedback on things you’d like to see added just let us know and we’ll keep adding and upgrading the directory.
