Today we took a lap all the way around Lake Tahoe creating some really awesome day after images on several different formats: 35mm digital, xpan 35mm panoramic, polaroid and 120 holga.
We had a blast just hanging out with Doug and Christine and having Doug show us all the awesome places to shoot around this massive lake. The blue sky sure did add to the beauty of the day as well! (here are a few quick shots I grabbed off the cards before heading to bed)

It was a truly beautiful day today in South Lake Tahoe. The sky was as blue as I first ever remember seeing it in photographs I processed when working at a photo lab back in the day. And capturing Doug and Christine’s wedding on the shore of Lake Tahoe was a true pleasure.
Here’s a sneak peak of a few of the shots we got on a dock near the wedding site at Edgewood and then down the road at Zephyr Cove. (more photos to come after I process the entire wedding)

Cheryl and I are getting really amped for this weekend’s wedding with Doug and Christine up in South Lake Tahoe at the Edgewood.
Doug is an awesome photographer based in Sacramento. I’ve known him since college when we attended Brooks Institute of Photography together.
I took a day and cruised up to Sacramento a few months back to meet up with Doug and Christine for their wedding photos and we had a blast cruising all over Sacramento and up into the hills of Cameron Park and El Dorado Hills for some great locations.
After their wedding this Sunday, we’re taking Monday to cruise around the Lake Tahoe area and create some BEAUTIFUL day after images. We love day after sessions because it gives us a chance to really go all out with photos of the couple (normally we’re fairly restricted on time the day of the wedding) I can’t wait to share all of those photos with everyone!

Be on the lookout on our website and blog for Doug and Christine’s wedding slideshow sometime Saturday night or early Sunday morning!!!
