I love the old spanish architecture at the Santa Barbara Mission, so when Candace asked me if we could do her senior portrait session there, I was stoked. She did a great job posing in front of the camera (something I find quite awkward to do myself), this first picture here is my favorite.

Melanie contacted me for family portraits just before their big move from California to Texas. While busy packing and celebrating their son’s 5th birthday party, they found the time to drive up from the Los Angels area to have their pictures taken at the bluffs in Carpinteria.
Her boys are super sweet, we let them run around and play in the dirt. Her eldest, who is really into geography, brought along his globe so I could grab some shots of him with that. They are now safely in Texas and I can’t wait to get these images printed for them!
