Once again we had the honor of photographing a family member’s wedding… Tim’s cousin Sarah married Nathan in their hometown of Tehachapi, CA (also where Tim grew up). They are super cute together and we are stoked to have Nathan as part of our family now.

We were stoked to be a part of Steve and Loriann’s wedding in Cheryl’s home town of Palm Springs, California. The ceremony was held at Our Lady of Solitude Parish and the reception at the Villa Royale Inn.
Portraits of the two of them was one of our favorite parts of their day. We got to take them out to a beautiful desert landscape with the San Jacinto mountains and dramatic storm clouds to use as our backdrop. Below are just a few of our favorite pictures from their day.

We love being a part of family weddings! Tim’s cousin Rachel, married Steve (a fellow foodie and wine lover) at the Earl Burns Japanese Gardens at Cal State University of Long Beach. The grounds there are beautiful and Rachel was a stunning bride.
It’s so fun to see so many familiar faces at weddings like these and it always reminds me of how special each guest is to the bride and groom. Something I try to keep in mind when we are at each wedding we photograph.
Congrats Steve and Rachel!

I was just going through some old images as I work on updating our website and I came across this awesome Carneros Inn Wedding photo from Joe and Lauren’s wedding. I shot this with one of my holgas and had the film scanned at Color Services here in Santa Barbara, then tossed a quick action on the film to make it pop a bit more.

We are stoked that The Knot picked Michael and Jenny’s wedding photos for their 2010 Fall/Winter issue. (It’s especially an honor as this is our third year running that we’ve been selected to be featured in the Fall/Winter Issue)
The Knot fell in love with the beach theme. Jenny decorated the ceremony and reception sites with thick nautical rope, white-and-pale pink peonies, ranunculus and hydrangeas, as well as burlap table toppers made by her mom. Simple, yet very elegant and beautiful. Such an honor to be part of this beautiful wedding!
